Creative spaces for artificial intelligence
In the Cyber Valley research offensive, which is funded by the Region of Baden-Württemberg, the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems and the Universities of Tübingen and Stuttgart join up with seven partners from industry. Their joint goal is to develop the Region of Stuttgart-Tübingen as the leading research location for artificial intelligence.

The project combines new professorships, research groups and doctoral students from the University of Tübingen and the Max Planck Institute as well as other cooperation partners. Moreover, the cooperation between science and business is intended to create an environment that fosters successful start-up companies in the field of artificial intelligence. The focus lies on the research areas of machine learning, robotics and computer vision. We will implement the first construction phase of a new research building with office and experimental space, with areas for seminars, too.
