Great commitment for cancer research
The new Radiological Development Centre will provide radiologists and radiation therapists with the opportunity to improve imaging procedures and to develop even more effective therapeutic options for cancer diseases. The new building is a public building that is representative in character, while taking into account the needs of complex scientific research and patient care. In its centre there is a glass-roofed courtyard which gives natural exposure and orientation.

The new building is constructed as a six-storeyed building (including two lower floors). It includes diagnostic areas with large medical equipment (MRI, CT and PET), therapeutic areas with radiation devices (Linac) and research areas on the large devices. The dynamic development of radiological research requires a flexible and future-oriented building structure. It will be possible to replace the massive medical equipment without structural changes.
