The campus of the former Faculty of Medicine was built between the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th century. The neo-Gothic style ensemble was one of the most modern institutions in the country and is now a listed building because of its enormous historical and architectural value. Since May 2018, one of the buildings houses the centre of medical simulation. Previously, the building was renovated according to historical standards and rebuilt according to today's requirements.

In addition to the two-storeyed, multi-functional halls, the administrative rooms and smaller workspaces, simulation rooms with observation rooms were set up, in which medical students can practice medical interventions, teamwork and approaching patients on human-like simulators. The converted attic offers a multifunctional "open space" as well as glass boxes, which can be used as seminar and meeting rooms. In the basement, there is a reading room.
